Wolverine, played by Jackman, was seen STABBING superhero Deadpool, played by Reynolds, in the back as they fought on set in the south of England. Australian actor Hugh, 54, was then spotted throwing Reynolds, 46, over his head, before they continued fighting.
In another scene, Wolverine was seen spinning Deadpool around and throwing him through a WALL. The sequence was cleverly constructed with Hugh using a fake Deadpool leg, with the rest of the action expected to be added by CGI when the film is edited. The pair, who were also seen scrapping on the ground, looked pleased to be on set together and gave each other a hug as the filming ended.
Hugh, who last played Wolverine in 2017’s Logan and who said he would never reprise the role, was seen wearing the comic book classic yellow and black suit, whilst Reynolds was wearing his renowned red outfit.
Production of the film is believed to have been relocated to the UK so Reynolds can manage his commitments with his team Wrexham FC.
