Felix da Silva-Clamp was there to cheer on the 20-year-old royal and even hopped on the back of her carriage for a ride in between events.
Lady Louise, who was taking part in a dressage event with one of the Queen’s ponies, wore a black helmet, smart beige overcoat and matching gloves.
Felix, who was dressed in grey chinos and a blue jacket, was seen arriving at the event with her mum Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, 59, who was dressed casually in khaki skinny jeans, a khaki coat and a light blue jumper,
It is the first time she has taken part in the event at the former home of her grandfather, the late Prince Philip who encouraged her to take up the sport.
The Sandringham trials were started in 1982 by Prince Philip, who wanted to bring one of his favourite sports to one of his favourite places and it always takes place over the weekend after Royal Ascot.
