The Monarch’s pink saloon within the estate’s 60 acre formal gardens is serving GIN and TONICS for £6.50 with a choice of his Raspberry & Apple Gin or Celebration Gin.
Visitors can opt for Raspberry & Apple Gin, which has been made specifically for the estate using Norfolk apples and raspberries.
A notice on the bar states: “A delightful full bodied Gin created by steeping chopped apples and whole raspberries in the distilled spirit before bottling. This gin boasts the perfect balance of Norfolk apples and juicy raspberries.”
Or they can try Charles’ Celebration Gin, made from Sharon fruit “grown in the walled garden and myrtle plants originating from a cutting taken from the bouquet at the marriage of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1863.”
Another sign adds: “Celebration Gin – a core of juniper balanced by zesty citrus and delicate floral notes in this gin.”
Both are served with a Fever Tree Tonic or Slimline Tonic Mixer.
