The Monarch is selling steamy bowls of good old-fashioned porridge at the estate’s restaurant, after Queen Camilla’s son, Tom Parker Bowles, recently revealed it was her go-to on winter mornings.
The Queen is known to start her day with a bowl of porridge made from Scottish oats, milk and cream, with a generous dollop of homemade honey from her bees.
Now the King is inviting visitors to sample her special breakfast by offering bowls of warm porridge for a pricey £8.50, served with honey made by the King’s bees on the Sandringham estate.
Visitors can also opt for toppings of strawberry jam or seasonal berries.
