The Royal restrooms at the visitor centre on his Sandringham estate in Norfolk have been given “Platinum” status and entered into the National Awards.
Thousands of pounds were spent giving the lavish latrines a makeover earlier this year and the posh privies now boast oak wood toilet seats, emerald green tiles, plants and framed photos on the walls.
After sitting on the throne, visitors can use the sensor flushes and wash their hands under gold coloured taps. There are even gold coloured toilet roll holders and hand driers.
The Sandringham estate posted on Facebook: “Sandringham toilets at the visitor centre have been graded ‘Platinum.’
