The self-proclaimed DULLEST man in Britain has become Lord of the Bins after launching a 2026 calendar featuring piles of RUBBISH from Birmingham’s on-going BIN STRIKE.

Kevin Beresford has already sold hundreds of the riveting rubbish calendars, showing black bin bags piled high and overflowing bins around the city, where the strike has been escalating without resolution since January. His is hoping the mundane “Rats as Big as Cats” calendar will be voted the “rubbish” calendar of the year – and it has already become a surprise bestseller.

“The strike is an embarrassment for the city of Birmingham. I’ve done this to show them all up. It’s gone on too long, it's ridiculous,” he said.

Kevin, 72, has become well known for his unusual “dull” calendars and his other publications over the years have included roundabouts, road kill, prisons and car parks.

“What could be more mundane than rubbish?” he added. “It’s a calendar like no other that chronicles Birmingham’s non-rubbish collection. Bin there, not done that.” '

The calendar includes pictures from different parts of the city, with photos of litter strewn across pavements, fly-tipping and wheelie-bins stuffed full of waste.

Kevin added: “I’m in in full support of this strike. I place the full blame on the Birmingham Council who I believe are penalising the bin workers through their own incompetence in the running of the city's council. Through this calendar and other merchandise I hope to raise awareness to the plight of the citizens of Birmingham who have to endure their streets filled with over-flowing filth.”
