Dramatic new photos show the severely buckled train which saw a carriage shunted off its tracks following a collision, which killed a train driver and injured 100 passengers.
The aerial pictures show the huge extent of the damage after one of the carriages on the 15.10 train from Nottingham to London St Pancras came off the rails when the 16.40 Corby train, travelling on the same line, ran into the back of it shortly after 5pm on Friday, June 19.

The carriage can be seen at an angle to the rest of the East Midlands Railway train, which was stationary when the Luton Airport Express service smashed into the back of it and pushed one of the carriages off the track.
Specialist crane equipment was also seen at the crash site, just south of the Elstow interchange between the A421 and the A6, as experts prepared to move the two trains off the tracks. Investigators are now working to find out the cause of the crash, which saw 100 people injured.
A major incident was declared on June 19, with some 70 firefighters and 20 ambulances responding alongside police.
