Two common DOLPHINS have been spotted in a river in Cambridgeshire – 35 MILES from the sea – in an extremely rare sighting.

Wildlife photographer Simon Stirrup captured pictures of an adult and juvenile dolphin – believed to be a mother and her calf - swimming in the River Great Ouse at Earith. It is believed to be the first time common dolphins have been seen swimming in a Cambridgeshire river and comes after they were first spotted in the river near Downham Market in Norfolk earlier in the week.

Pop star Ed Sheeran’s stunning private CHAPEL which comes with its own BURIAL CHAMBER is now finished and ready for him to use.

The chapel in the grounds of his house in East Suffolk, which is made out of flint with an impressive round tower, has finally been finished and most of the scaffolding taken down after an 18-month-build. The stunning building, which is in the style of a small early Suffolk Round Tower Church, can now be used by Sheeran’s family and friends to worship in private.

Gardeners have DUG UP all FOURTEEN large yew trees in King Charles’ new climate friendly Topiary Garden on the Royal Sandringham estate in Norfolk – just weeks after they were planted.

There are big holes in the ground where the yew trees once stood in the decorative garden, which is laid out with symmetrical beds and a maze of white gravel paths. The garden was only opened to the public three months ago in July but now has big gaps in the planting. New yew trees are expected to be planted in the next few weeks.

Actor Robson Green had to get out and PUSH after a vintage car broke down on the set of ITV crime drama Grantchester.

The 58-year-old, who plays Inspector Geordie Keeting in the 1950s detective drama, saw the funny side as he jumped out of the open-top red Triumph Herald to give it a push start. The actor had a big smile on his face as he helped to fix the vintage car, which was being driven by his new co-star Rishi Nair, who plays parish priest Alphy Kotteram.

A man has come up with an invention to make PIZZA DELIVERY quicker by building the world’s only BIKE with an OVEN which allows him to make and cook pizzas on the move.

Inventor and YouTuber Colin Furze has adapted a motorbike so it can carry a pizza oven and a cook, who can make the Italian delicacy while it is being delivered. The incredible invention, which comes with its own kitchen work top and drawers for the pizza toppings, means customers never have to eat cold pizza again.

A calendar featuring RUBBISH DUMPS around England has become a surprise bestseller.

A 103-year-old former Wren Officer in WW2 has taken to the skies in a Miles Magister plane – 80 years after she was offered a lift home from a party in one by a Polish officer.

Christian Lamb, who is one of the last surviving WW2 Wren Officers, looked thrilled as she soared into the air in the two-seater training aircraft – eight decades after hitching a lift in one when she missed her train. Mrs Lamb, who lives in London, was watched by her family and friends as she re-lived her daring flight at the Shuttleworth Trust ‘Circus’ Air Show. 

An artist from Cornwall is creating stunning collages using RUBBISH collected on beach cleans.

Bonnie Steward collects plastic waste on beach cleans and uses the materials to create intricate collages that depict the location in her picture. Her artwork resembles a complex tapestry of layered plastic waste, including crisp packets, plastic wrappers, toothbrushes, fishing nets and tennis balls. The 25-year-old works on large scales, with many of her pictures measuring more than a metre.

The sea creatures, which are so-named because their markings can make them resemble a compass, can give a nasty sting – even after they have died.

Actor Rishi Nair has been spotted filming his first scenes as the new dishy vicar in ITV crime drama Grantchester with his predecessor Tom Brittney.

Rishi, who is best known for his role as Sami Maalik in Hollyoaks, was seen smiling and laughing as he was introduced to the crew in the pretty village of Grantchester in Cambridgeshire. The actor, who was wearing his vicar robes, is set to replace Tom Brittney, who has played the part since 2019.

Actor Hugh Jackman was spotted handing out National Lottery SCRATCHCARDS to the film cast and crew working on the set of his new movie, Deadpool 3.

The kind-hearted film star gave the cards to his colleagues in between takes on the set of the new Marvel movie, which is being shot in the south of England. The Australian actor, 54, was seen dishing out the green and pink £2 scratchcards, giving the hard-working crew a chance to win up to £250,000.

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds have been spotted filming a FIGHT SCENE together for the first time on the set of new movie Deadpool 3.

Wolverine, played by Jackman, was seen STABBING superhero Deadpool, played by Reynolds, in the back as they fought on set in the south of England. Australian actor Hugh, 54, was then spotted throwing Reynolds, 46, over his head, before they continued fighting.

Remarkable photos of King Charles as a smiling TODDLER which were found in a SKIP in Cambridge have been auctioned.

Pictures of His Majesty playing with his toys on the lawn of Clarence House, where the Queen and Prince Philip lived when he was a child, have re-surfaced after 25 years and have been sold by Willingham Auctions in Cambridgeshire. Charles, who is aged about two in the unique photos, can be seen wearing dungarees and beaming as he plays with a furry push-along elephant in one of the snaps. Another picture shows the happy toddler sitting on the ground and tugging at his shoe, then playing with a rolled up umbrella.

A woman has won a battle to have her pet cat reinstated as having the LOUDEST PURR in the Guinness World Records – after questioning the recording accuracy of another cat who claimed the title.

Ruth Adams is overjoyed after Guinness agreed to amend the entry for the world’s loudest domestic purring cat – making her cat Smokey, who died nine years ago, and rival cat Merlin joint winners. The 57-year-old spent hours carrying out extensive research to understand the science behind the accuracy of measuring sound after Merlin’s purr beat Smokey’s by just ONE TENTH of a decibel in 2015.

Bridgerton actor Jonathan Bailey has been seen in costume for the first time on the set of new movie Wicked, in which he stars as love interest Fiyero, opposite Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.

The actor, who is best known as Viscount Anthony Bridgerton in Netflix’s steamy regency romance series, looked handsome in an elaborate green and gold suit and black boots as he filmed alongside Ariana Grande on set in Buckinghamshire. Wicked, which is mostly set before Dorothy’s arrival in Oz, tells the story from the perspective of the witches, Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, played by Cynthia and Glinda, the Good Witch, played by Ariana.

Ariana Grande has been seen in costume for the FIRST TIME on the set of her much-anticipated new movie Wicked, in which she plays Galinda the Good Witch.

The singer was spotted wearing a sparkling pink princess dress and a dazzling tiara as she filmed the OPENING SCENE in Buckinghamshire. Ariana, 29, was seen holding a wand and had her long blonde locks flowing as she landed in the fantastical Land of Oz on a large gold throne. She was greeted by the citizens of Oz, celebrating the death of the Wicked Witch of the West, who has been killed by Dorothy.

Ed Sheeran showed he is a devoted husband as he watched wife Cherry Seaborn-Sheeran play hockey after revealing she was diagnosed with a tumour last year.

The pop star cheered on his wife from the sidelines as she played with her squad, the Harleston Magpies at the home game in Norfolk. It comes after Ed, 32, recently said he has an “unbreakable bond” with his wife after a series of traumatic events last year brought them closer together as they leant on each other for support.
